Area measured, cleared, and leveled before paving
Gravel, crushed stone, or road mix base for a stable foundation
Your choice of asphalt or concrete
Forms installed to create the edges of the driveway
Surface smoothed and properly cured
Sealed to protect and extend the life of your driveway
Before starting any paving work, the project is planned and all necessary materials and tools are prepared. The area is measured, obstacles are cleared, and the ground is confirmed level.
The existing driveway or any vegetation, rocks, and debris is dug up and removed from the ground.
The ground is graded and leveled to ensure that it's even and has positive drainage away from the house. A layer of gravel, crushed stone, or road mix is then added to the base of the driveway to provide a stable foundation for the asphalt or concrete.
Forms are installed to create the edges of the driveway and provide a guide for pouring the concrete or asphalt.
Once the base is prepared and the forms are in place, the asphalt or concrete is poured onto the surface of the driveway. It is then spread and smoothed using specialized equipment.
After the asphalt or concrete has been poured and smoothed, any excess material is removed and the surface is allowed to cure. Once cured, the edges of the driveway are smoothed and any remaining debris is cleaned up.
Depending on the type of material used for the driveway, it may need to be sealed to protect it from damage and prolong its lifespan. Our team will help you make the best decision for sealer to ensure your driveway lasts as long as possible.
