A working sprinkler system that consistently delivers water exactly where it is needed is key to a yard that stays beautiful year round.

This is why Freedom Fabrication has made it its mission to lay the best sprinkler systems in all of the Helena Valley.

Our team follows a straight forward process that delivers great results.

1. Plan the layout: Before you start digging, it’s important to plan the layout of your sprinkler system. This will involve measuring your lawn and garden, determining the water pressure and flow rate of your home, and deciding where to place the sprinkler heads.

2. Dig trenches: Once you’ve planned the layout, you’ll need to dig trenches for the sprinkler pipes. These trenches should be at least 6-8 inches deep, depending on the local building codes, and wide enough to accommodate the pipes.

3. Lay the pipes: Once the trenches are dug, it’s time to lay the pipes. This will involve connecting the main line to your home’s water supply, and then running the pipes through the trenches to the various sprinkler heads. Make sure to use poly or PVC pipes that are the appropriate size for your system and use oticers/pinch clamp and PVC cement to secure the fittings.

4. Install the sprinkler heads: Once the pipes are in place, it’s time to install the sprinkler heads. Make sure to choose the appropriate type of sprinkler head for each area of your lawn and garden, based on the water flow rate and coverage area. The sprinkler heads should be positioned so that they provide consistent head to head coverage.

5. Connect the control valve: Once the sprinkler heads are installed, it’s time to connect the control valves. These valves will regulate the water flow to the sprinkler heads and allow you to turn the system on and off. Make sure to use the appropriate size valve for your system and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for installation.

6. Test the system: Once the system is installed, it’s important to test it thoroughly to make sure everything is working properly. This will involve turning on the water and checking each sprinkler head for proper coverage and pressure. You may need to make adjustments to the sprinkler heads or control valves to achieve optimal performance.

By following these steps, you can install a sprinkler system that will keep your lawn and garden healthy and beautiful, while also conserving water.
