A common problem with lawns in the Helena valley is lumpy, patchy and dying lawns. Here at Freedom Fabrication, we take pride in transforming lawns into beautiful yards.
To complete this sort of transformation, there are several steps of care that your lawn must go through.
- Soil Application
- Grading
- Seeding
- Fertilizing
Soil Application
Do you know the saying “you are what you eat”? This is usually applied to people, but many don’t realize that this exact phrase also applies to your grass. The soil that the grass is planted in will determine whether or not it will grow at an accelerating pace, or will wither away and die.
We need to take the guesswork out of planting a new yard. By using extremely nutrient dense soil as a base layer for your new lawn to grow in.
Grading
To make sure your yard will keep its beauty into the future. It is important to take preventative measures to make sure that there will be no unforeseen problems. Grading is the act of smoothing out the surface layer of soil as well as adding a slight incline also known as positive drainage to the entire yard. This is done to prevent any water buildup that can completely maim all of your grass in the long term. Water deposits that sit for a long period of time will cause bare patches across your entire yard. Proper grading also ensures water stays away from your house or structure.
Seeding
Once all the preparation work is done of. Applying a new layer of nutrient dense soil and then smoothing it out and making sure that no water will linger in the long term. We are now ready to begin the process of planting the grass that will make up the look of your beautiful new yard.
Using an assortment of tools, our team here at Freedom Fabrications will go and spread seeds or sod all across the yard in an even pattern as to make sure that there are no spots that are more or less dense than others.
Fertilizer
The final touch is fertilizing the lawn. This will speed up the growth rate of the grass, ensuring that it will gain strength and density so even through the coldest Montana winters it will survive.
A lawn that makes the neighbors jealous doesn’t have to be difficult. It is just as easy as getting in touch with our team here at Freedom Fabrication.
